MUSCAT: Tech Oman successfully concluded one of the country's most vibrant and inspiring technology gatherings dedicated to empowering and celebrating women in the technology sector. The inaugural Women in Tech event brought together a packed ballroom filled with passionate professionals, aspiring leaders, students, entrepreneurs, and their families for an evening of inspiration, recognition, networking and entertainment.

The event featured an exceptional lineup of more than 12 accomplished women leaders who participated as panellists and moderators, sharing their experiences, challenges, and insights on leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and the future of technology.

Tariq al Barwani, Founder and President of Tech Oman, said: “This event was never intended to be just another conference—it was designed to celebrate the remarkable women who are transforming Oman's technology landscape while inspiring many more to follow in their footsteps. Seeing a ballroom filled with passionate women, their families, industry leaders, and supporters sends a powerful message that Oman is ready to champion greater diversity in technology.”

Following the overwhelming response from participants and partners, Tech Oman plans to make the Women in Tech event an annual flagship initiative, continuing to celebrate achievements, encourage collaboration, and inspire more women to pursue leadership roles across the technology sector.
